So this is my 2 1/2 week-mark of using the Beautederm Skin Line. If you’ve been following the blog (and I hope you are) you’d know that I previously posted about the Beautederm Skin Line in my entries here and here. So this will be my review of their skin care products I got from Skin and Beyond by Beautederm. Please be reminded that this, or my other two posts, are NOT paid posts by any Beautederm distributor or reseller nor by the Beautederm Corporation. I bought the products because of their popularity among bloggers and you-tube’rs and recommendations from very good friends. This is my independent review of the product.

Did I say that the Beautederm Skin Line is promising? Oh yes, baby. This girl is happy – they promised, delivered and gave so much more. Let me count the reasons why:
The first thing I noticed is that the skin between my lower lip and chin is now smooth! I’ve always been annoyed with those tiny, “flaky” skin on my labret. (Yes, that’s the name of the part between your lower lip and chin.) I’ve had that problem since I was a teen-ager that I’ve already accepted it as part of my life. They’re not very noticeable but whenever I stretched that part and feel it, it was always rough. I’ve tried scrubbing it, exfoliating, using those nose pore strips on them – they stubbornly remained. And now, miraculously, they are gone! Even the skin on my chin is smooth. If only for these improvements I want to rave about the product no end. Yes, there is hope for problematic labrets! (I don’t really like the sound of that name…)
Second, the puffiness under my eyes are minimizing. Eyebags were already starting to form and I have to admit, the skin under was starting to sag. I am now seeing a change there, too. The puffiness is slowly going away and they feel a little firmer than before.
I used to also have teensy brownish spots around my face. They seem to be like the dreaded age spots that I’ve been reading about when you skin matures. They’ve diminished in number! In fact, with a 15x mirror in front of me right now, I think I’ve only counted 3 or 4 left.
I am starting to see the “glow” that I’ve always been looking for. For the past week, I’ve started going out to get-togethers and church events with just Beautederm’s Day Cream and a pea-sized CC Cream on – no other foundation, no blush, no powder even. My skin’s appearance doesn’t seem to need more makeup for everyday events. There’s a certain radiance starting to show and my cheeks have a tinge of pink. I used to apply my NYC Pore Filler to make my makeup look flawless and porcelain-like. But now I don’t think I will need that ever. The only makeup I could not live without is my eyebrows and lipstick, but that’s another story.

I think my before and now photo might help my review a bit more. The “before” shot was taken one early morning in the Philippines last January with my day moisturizer and foundation on. My “now” photo was also shot in the morning yesterday and has me with only my eyebrow and lipstick on. Yes, no make-up, not even Beautederm’s CC Cream. Just their Day Cream. And nope – no filters, no touch-ups, no photoshops!
Oh, I still feel the sting most specially around my nose and on my cheekbones whenever I apply the Day and Night Toner. The stinging feeling goes away tho once the creams are applied. My skin still shows peeling. They happen most specially the morning after I’ve applied the night creams. But the peeling goes away once I apply the CC Cream. I think it also helps that I use the Facial Wash with Scrub Pump to minimize the appearance of skin peels.
Yes, my treatment isn’t complete yet. I still have a few more weeks/months until I can achieve the best results. For one, I have small pores that I definitely want to lessen and maybe (*fingers crossed*) go away. My skin tone isn’t as even yet as I want it to be. Plus I really want to see a more obvious flush and luminosity in my skin that I’ve seen other seasoned users have. I want Sylvia Sanchez‘ skin! (Right, Jo?)

Good things come to those who wait. I am hopeful for better results to come.
But for those who are already as convinced as I am that the Beautederm Skin Line products work and do not know where to buy them here in the US, I have good news! Like I said in a previous post, I do have some trial and regular sets with me. Plus, for any other Beautederm Skin Line product you might want, just contact me on my FB, Instagram, Twitter or here in my comment sections for any inquiries you might want to ask. I reply fast 🙂

So there, I am still happy with the products on my 2 week mark. Keep tuning in and you will read more of the Beautederm Skin Line products. In fact I’m planning on getting and trying some new ones really soon.
Till next time, my lovies!

Pano po magreseller ng beautederm
Hi Juliet, go to your distributor and inquire if you can be one of their resellers. 🙂
Hi! Bumili po ako ng travel set last month. Paubos na tas nagkakaroon ako ng pimples. Meron akong 3 pimples na malalaki sa chin ko tas sa nose ko. Help me. Maganda naman yong result niya sa face ko kaso yong pimples lang talaga yong problema ko. Pano ba to?
usually pag nagkakapimples ka while using the product, reaction lang ito ng skin mo to push away the impurities that are underneath your skin. so consider these breakouts the straggles that still need to get out. the effect will still be that they would go away and then it’s beautiful skin after that ‘purging’ 😉
Hello! I’ve been using beautederm for almost 2 years and may problem is parang wala na syang effect sa face ko and lumalabas na yung mga pimples ko. Bakit po kaya? Should i stop using?
Sometimes, the weather, the environment or your current activities and moods also affect your skin. If you think your Beaute set seems to not be working, you might want to try the Beaute L’Elixir. It is formulated to diminish or even erase build-up of acne by protecting the skin, not only from causing pimples but also from agents that may cause the skin to be irritated and clogged from UV rays of the sun, smog and other environmental pollutants.
hi, i am a first timer user of beautiderm set, im on my 2 weeks of using but lot of pimple is coming out on my face, is this normal? or i need to stop using it?
Hi Sheila,
So sorry I didn’t get to see your post right away. I want to say that sometimes the pimples still come out because the medication tries to take out all the impurities of your skin before it can start beautifying your skin. This transformation is needed. This is the start of the road to a beautiful skin so don’t stop using the product.
Hello Ms. Gigi,
I looked for the ingredients of the facial set and I found out that the papaine soap contains salicylic acid, day cream has salicylate and the night cream 3 has isoparaffin. I searched the internet and apparently these chemicals are not safe to use during pregnancy. I’m 19weeks pregnant and would very much like to try the beautederm kit I bought from my friend (especially it’s quite pricey). What should I do? I really want to have a glowy beautiful skin but I’m afraid it might affect my developing baby? Thanks in advance for your reply! 🙂
I would advice you to wait till after your pregnancy. Nothing should be more important than having a healthy baby. While you wait until your baby comes, make sure to eat healthy – not much oily food, a lot of fruits and veggies. These natural foods also contain nutrients that help make beautiful skin. Always make sure that you wash your face with very mild soap that is baby-friendly.
For now, enjoy your pregnancy. Enjoy the wait till your beautiful baby comes. And when she is born, ask your doctor if it will be ok by then to use Beautederm.
I have been using Beautederm for almost 3 weeks already and my face got a lot if tiny bumps while using this product, is this normal or Do i need to stop using it?
Hi Mae,
Without seeing what they look like, it’s hard to say what they are. If they occured after using Beautederm then I am thinking that this is your skin’s way of purging the old skin. I have had clients who also went through the same problem. I always advised them to just continue on with the skin routine. I also suggest not to use other skin products if you’re using Beautederm so as to get the 100 % results and it won’t conflict with other ingredients from other skin products.
Once you do continue, the skin bumps will slowly go away. Patience is the key. 🙂
Is there any product of Beautederm that will not make the skin peel? Or can I stop the using the toner since it has a micropeel effect and just continue using the other products instead? Thank you. ?
Actually, the micropeeling is an important part of your renewed skin journey. It will actually take off damaged skin due to aging, environment and acne. Your fine line and wrinkles are softened and any brown spots your have begin to lighten. It also makes your skin come out with a softer and smoother version making your skin glowy and radiant.
The peeling is very minimal, for the some, the worst could just be, they come up with more peeling in the nose area. I had mine more in my nose area and my chin. But it wasn’t anything that the Beautederm Purifie soap scrub can’t take off. The day and night creams also help hide the micropeeling. Plus, when this happens, you skin only goes thru it for about 3 days or so. So I would go on and go through the whole stage of it, if I were you. Most specially if you get a renewed skin after.
Having said that, you can use the creams and the soap that come with the set without the toner. Some of my clients do that. Altho, I still encourage them to go back to useing the toner. In fact, the toner is my favorite member of the set 🙂
hi. its my 6th day if using beautederm. i notice that i havent experience the redness, the micropeeling effect that most of the users are saying. what do u think is the reason why? my close comedones are starting to came out. and my face is really oily. any suggestions from you? thank you in advance.
The micropeeling or redness is something that doesn’t happen to everyone altho it happens to a lot of them. it actually depends on the condition and quality of your skin at the time. I, for one, didn’t experience the redness altho i went thru the micropeeling. I would say that’s because I have been using a lot of other skin enhancement creams prior to using Beautederm. I think the more the treatment needs to work, the more reaction it will do. Like you said, the oiliness could also be a factor. The papaine soap and the toner should be a big help for oily skin. I would probably just use a very, very small amount of the creams (about just a pea-sized amount). Also, make sure that you clean your face every night and every morning. Soaping your face for about 30 seconds at least before you rinse it. Plus make sure that you wait 5 minutes before you apply the next cream.
If the symptoms persist, stop the creams and go see a dermatologist. There might be other factors affecting the onset of comedones.
I have been using beautederm sets for over two weeks why i can’t see results?
Hi Patricia,
It really depends on what the state of your skin is before you started using the product. How often do you use it? Are you applying it correctly? The biggest mistake people do is that they do not wait until each applied cream is totally absorbed by the skin. That’s why they advice you to wait 5 minutes in between cream applications.
Different people have different skin types also. Some see results right away, while some may take a month or so before they see something changing…
hello, its my 5th day using the product the 2nd&3rd day its peeling and at the same time its so itchy. is it normal?
the effects are different depending on the skin type. some people have a lot of peeling happening, while some do not peel at all. The itch also happens. If you are getting uncomfortable with the itch, you can forego using the toner for a week, then slowly re-introduce it by doing the toner maybe once every other day first. Then if you don’t feel any itch, try doing it everyday. if that’s ok, then try doing it twice a day.
it is normal that sometimes your skin gets ‘shocked’ by a solution. so it is always best to let your skin rest from that solution and slowly reintroduce it after the rest period.
Is it safe to use this product while nursing?
Thank you for your comment, Chayo. You might need to ask your doctor regarding this.
Hello, I bought the travel set of beautederm. Is it normal to experience the redness on your face after you applied the products on 1st night and 1st day?Should I stop using the products or what? Thank you.
Different people have different reactions to every product. It’s just the way humans are. That’s why it is very important that I advice my clients to do a test first on the jawline one product at a time to make sure there are no severe reactions.
Some people do experience the redness on their faces, like what I assume is happening to you. That’s because some skin are sensitive to a sudden influx of new ingredients all at once. It could also be possible you are still using other products other than the set.
I would probably advice you to go slow. Wash your face with only the Papaine soap. No other products. Just the soap. Then on the next day or so, do the toner and soap only. Then a day or two after, just the first 2 products and then the Night cream 1. And so on… This process, altho slow, will slowly introduce your skin to the products. This way your skin won’t be ‘shocked’ by all the products all at once.
Should you still experience redness after putting them all on again, try to rest from using the toner for a week. And then slowly reintroduce your skin to it again. But hopefully, because of the slower introduction prior, your face would be used to it and there won’t be any problem anymore.
Hello po. I continue to use the products, and today, I experience peeling. Is it normal after you experienced the redness? And should I continue to use toner this time?
The peeling is normal for some. I would say gently apply on it so that it takes out the excess peels. 🙂
Hello I used beauteset for 15 days now, since I don not have night cream2, can I use the elixir now? Thanks 🙂
I am 61 yrs old and through a friend’s recommendation,I have just started my beautederm products. I am on my 3rd week and there is redness and itching on my face and on my neck too. Will I still continue? With my age, will this work?
Yes, Beautederm works for all ages. The redness and itchiness you feel is the effect of the toner. It would be good to pause for awhile until the redness is gone and slowly introduce it again. not every right away. try it every other day for the meantime. if there is no reaction, then go ahead and use it everyday. Try not to scrub your face too much with a cotton and the toner. just swipe it gently on your skin. Remmeber, the toner is not an ultimate cleanser. Altho the toner removes any dirt residue on your skin, it’s main goal is to restore your skin’s ph level, smoothens the skin and improve skin tone.
